Safety Measures
SDHS is taking all necessary precautions regarding COVID-19 practices. The safety and wellbeing of our staff and patients is our top priority. All SDHS staff members are screened daily for symptoms, undergo temperature screenings, and follow mask-wearing protocols. Our facility is cleaned and sanitized throughout the day, with each exam room being sanitized between visits.
What to Expect During Your Visit
For your safety, we are utilizing mobile check-in. When you arrive for your appointment, please call the office from your vehicle. Our friendly staff will ask you some health screening questions in order to better prepare for your visit. Patients who are experiencing any “sick” symptoms, will be seen in a designated area of the building, which has been isolated from the rest of the patient care areas for safety purposes. When your exam room is available, the nurse will call you with future instructions to enter the building and begin your visit. Please wear a mask at all times while inside a SDHS facility, unless requested by your nurse or provider to remove it.
Additionally, SDHS is proud to offer our telehealth (virtual visits) as an option for patients who are unable or would prefer to speak to a provider without coming to the office. Please click on the “telehealth” information banner at the top of our website for more information.
COVID Testing Services
All SDHS medical locations currently offer COVID-19 testing by appointment. Please call your local center for more information.
